PMI CAPM Certification Training Course
Project management is one of the most challenging and exciting career choices you can make. No two days are the same when you are working on a project.
The challenge is how to break into this career field if you have limited or no previous experience. This is where the CAPM certification can help you. CAPM stands for Certified Associate in Project Management and is a globally recognized certification created by the Project Management Institute. They are best known for the PMP or Project Management Professional certification, which is used by experienced project managers.
The CAPM is an entry-level certification and the gateway to junior project management roles as well as the PMP certification once you have some documented experience to show you are prepared. For the CAPM, you need to demonstrate:
- Passing a high school diploma or equivalent
- Taking a 23-hour training course to prepare
Passing the exam shows you are proficient in:
- The basic principles of project management and understanding the role of project managers
- Appreciate the project management environment, and how to integrate projects
- Can explain project scope, schedule, budgets, quality, and resource management
- Understand procurement, communication, stakeholder involvement, and risk management
The exam can be taken online or at a testing center. It's two hours long and has an 80% pass mark.
This course prepares you for the below certification exam:
- CAPM Exam – 2023 version
The CAPM certification is internationally recognized and a requirement for many blue chip companies as well as the US Department of Defense. The course is entirely theoretical; however, we have included a number of case studies and scenarios so you can apply what you have learned to real-world challenges.
